Basic Conditions of Employment Act
Basic Conditions of Employment applies to all employers and workers and regulates employment conditions such as leave, working hours (ordinary, Sundays and public holidays), employment contracts, employee records, deductions, pay slips, overtime, and termination.

Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act
This act provides for and deals with injuries, disablement, disease and death caused by work-related activities.

Employment Equity Act
This act aims to promote and achieve equity in the workplace, by encouraging equal opportunity amongst all workers.

Unemployment Insurance Fund
Provides funds to workers who may become unemployed.

Promotion of Administrative Justice
The Constitution guarantees that administrative action will be reasonable, lawful and procedurally fair. It also makes sure that you have the right to request reasons for administrative action that negatively affects you.

The Promotion of Administrative Justice Act (PAJA) gives effect to these rights. It also provides for review of administrative action by a court or tribunal.

Labour Relations Act
Aims to support labour peace, democracy and worker participation in decision-making in the workplace.
